Man arrested for allegedly setting fire to his mobile home

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster man is behind bars accused of setting his mobile home on fire.

Scott Seladones, 53, of Lancaster, faces charges of arson, endangering a natural disaster and reckless endangerment.

West Lampeter Township Police were called to a mobile home fire at 1014 Willow Street in the Conestoga Mobile Home Park early Sunday around 12:20 a.m. Officers immediately began evacuating neighboring homes and assisted other first responders on scene upon arrival.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, police said. No one was injured in the fire.

Seladones was questioned at the scene and admitted to setting the fire, police said.

A state police fire marshal investigated the incident and concluded that arson was the cause.

He was arrested and arraigned without incident and was remanded to the Lancaster County Jail after failing to post $80,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 31.
