Purple Alert issued for missing Clay County man

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office issued a Purple Alert for a missing 44-year-old man Saturday afternoon.

William Loren Hardman, 44, was last seen riding a scooter in the 1500 block of Interstate 95, which branches off of State Road 200 northbound in Nassau County. The scooter is a black 150cc Honda scooter with a Florida license plate.

Hardman was seen wearing a blue shirt, dark pants and a black backpack and was not wearing a helmet, officials said.

According to officials, Hardman has been diagnosed with several illnesses and has not taken his medications for several days. He has brown hair, green eyes, mostly gray facial hair, weighs about 230 points and is 6 feet tall.
