Nicki Minaj apparently arrested in the Netherlands after incident with her luggage

According to the rapper’s social media posts, Nicki Minaj was apparently arrested by Dutch police due to an incident involving her luggage.

The rapper had travelled from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Manchester (England) to give a concert as part of her “Pink Friday 2 World Tour”. The 41-year-old Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, is scheduled to perform at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday evening.

When asked whether the rapper had been taken into custody, a Dutch police spokesman said that “a 41-year-old American woman had been arrested at Schiphol Airport for possession of soft drugs.”

In one Video As she shared on X on Saturday afternoon, Minaj can be seen being told that her luggage had to be searched.

“I’m very sorry to have to say this,” a man tells her at the airport.

“But wasn’t that your plan all along? Why didn’t you search it before it got on the plane?” she replies.

The man says they carried out a “quick random check” but the luggage had to be opened.

In subsequent posts, Minaj said she believed people were trying to “stop this tour” and lied to her.

“They took my luggage and when I asked where it was, they said it was on the plane. That can’t be, I just arrived,” she said. “I never gave them my luggage. They refuse to show me my own luggage.”

In another post, she wrote, “They get paid a lot of money to try and sabotage my tour because sooooo many people are mad that it’s so successful and they can’t stand with me. They got caught stealing money from my trips/jets. Got fired. Got mad. Etc.”

“This is how they hide things in your luggage,” said another.

In her last post, Minaj said she was told she had to “walk five minutes away to make a statement at the police station for my safety.”
