Serious accident in Wicomico County under investigation | Latest News

SALISBURY, MD – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a crash that occurred Wednesday evening on Rockawalkin Road that left one person with serious injuries.

According to the sheriff’s office, the driver of a Nissan Altima lost control and went off the road just before 11 p.m. on May 22. Police say the Nissan rolled over before coming to a stop and the driver was ejected from the car.

Due to life-threatening injuries, the driver was flown to a medical facility.

According to police, further investigation into the crash will be conducted on Thursday morning, May 23, and Rockawalkin Road will be closed between North Tourmaline Dr and South Tourmaline Dr starting at 9:00 a.m. The sheriff’s office expects the road to reopen around noon.
