Due to a fatal serious accident, lanes along Westpark Dr. closed in Hillcroft in southwest Houston

HOUSTON (KIAH) – Houston police officers are working at the scene of what is believed to be a serious, fatal crash in Hillcroft on Westpark Drive. The accident occurred shortly after 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The driver stopped and cooperated with police and the investigation.

From the CW39 studios we see the police directing people at the intersection. Traffic moves very slowly through the area, but there is a body of a person lying on the ground covered with a sheet.

At this time we do not know the identity or details of the incident. The crime scene is currently under active investigation.
