2 injured in multi-vehicle crash on Allen Road in Bakersfield

BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 29, 2024) – Two people were injured in a multi-car crash at the intersection of Allen Road and Hageman Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the multi-car crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. in northwest Bakersfield. For unknown reasons, at least one car collided at the intersection, resulting in two injuries.

Minutes later, paramedics and police arrived to find the vehicles briefly blocking traffic at the intersection. Emergency responders took one person to Kern Medical with a serious leg injury and another person for broken bones.

Authorities did not provide any information about the cause of the accident. However, the accident remains under investigation.
