Man killed, two hospitalized in head-on collision near Quincy | News

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Wash. – An unbelted man was killed in a head-on collision east of Quincy early Saturday morning.

According to the Washington State Patrol, a car driven by 32-year-old Claudio Navarrobernal was traveling west on State Route 28, crossed the center line and collided head-on with an eastbound vehicle at around 2:30 a.m.

Navarrobernal was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene of the accident.

Two people in their 40s in the eastbound vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.

According to WSP, the cause of the crash is currently being investigated.
