Suspect arrested after road rage incident in Somersworth and Berwick

SOMERSWORTH – Police have made an arrest in connection with an alleged road rage incident in Somersworth and Berwick, Maine.

Police charged 34-year-old Dillon S. O’Shea of ​​Berwick with reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, a Class B felony.

On July 7 at approximately 8:30 p.m., Somersworth Police responded to the Market Street area near the Maine border for a report of a road rage incident involving shots fired. A description of the suspect and his vehicle led to an alert being sent to surrounding authorities, including those in Maine.

“The incident actually started in Maine,” Somersworth Police Captain Matthew Duval said at the time of the incident. “Then the parties entered Somersworth over the bridge. The altercation was between two drivers and it was alleged that shots were fired. No one was injured and at this time we do not believe the firearm was pointed at anyone.”
