Simple bodily harm

Pennsylvania State Police in Troop A, Indiana, arrested Matthew McCracken, 37, and Samantha McCracken, 32, both of Graceton, for a simple assault incident between the two individuals that occurred along Third Street around 5:00 p.m. on July 12.

Police charged Matthew McCracken with two counts of harassment/physical contact and disorderly conduct. Matthew McCracken has not yet entered his guilty plea.

Police charged Samantha McCracken with second-degree assault and two counts of harassment/physical contact and disorderly conduct.

Samantha McCracken was arraigned on July 12 and her preliminary hearing is scheduled for 10:45 a.m. Thursday before Indiana State Magistrate Judge Anthony Sottile III.

Police said the investigation was still ongoing.
