Man shot to death on MARTA train in downtown Atlanta – WSB-TV Channel 2

ATLANTA — MARTA police are investigating a fatal shooting inside a MARTA train.

Police said at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, MPD received a call about a person shot on an eastbound train at Dome Station.

MPD is searching for the suspect.

MPD responded and attempted to save the victim but he died from his injuries.

Police have not said what led to the shooting.

MPD said this is currently a “single track” between Five Points and Vine City.
