Woman found shot in Mercedes near 105 Freeway in South Los Angeles; investigation ongoing

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found shot to death in a Mercedes near the 105 Freeway in southern Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.

Paramedics arrived near Vermont Avenue and the 105 Freeway around 7:45 p.m.

The video shown in the media player above is the 24/7 streaming channel of ABC7 Los Angeles.

The woman was found in a white Mercedes with multiple gunshot wounds. Her condition is unknown. AIR7 was above the crime scene during the investigation and filmed the passenger window of the vehicle, which was riddled with bullet holes.

The front driver’s side window also shattered.

Information about one or more suspects has not been released.

Vermont Avenue is now closed to traffic. The incident remains under investigation.
