Savannah police investigate shooting in the 1000 block of Bay St.

SAVANNAH, Georgia (WSAV) – Savannah Police (SPD) detectives are investigating a shooting in the 1000 block of W. Bay Street that left an adult male with a gunshot wound.

On June 28 at around 10 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of W. Bay Street.

At the scene, officers discovered a man with a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening.

The victim was taken to Memorial Medical Center for treatment and released.

No arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call CrimeStoppers at 912-234-2020.
