Atlanta to open two cooling centers as temperatures rise

ATLANTA — With temperatures rising, Atlanta announced the opening of two cooling centers Saturday.

According to the statement, the cooling centers would be open from June 29 through Sunday, June 30, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Selena Butler Park and Recreation Center., located at 98 WM Holmes Borders Dr. SE.

The city also said water would be supplied to the center.
