Nancy man arrested for drug possession and other charges

A Nancy man was arrested by Kentucky State Police Tuesday evening.

According to reports, 61-year-old Timothy Helm was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 24 miles per hour and failure to display his insurance card.

Helm was arrested by Trooper Brown of the Kentucky State Police shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday evening and booked into the Russell County Detention Center.
