Death of woman near North Little Rock investigated as homicide | The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

The death of a woman whose body was found in her home near North Little Rock on Monday is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office.

Officers dispatched to the 6900 block of Lee Road north of Interstate 40 between U.S. 67/167 and Interstate 440 found 70-year-old Deborah Lea Armond dead in her home at 1 p.m. Monday, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

The press release did not say how Armond died. No arrests were announced Tuesday.
