Paul Bowman was sentenced to 40 years to life imprisonment for the rape of two minors

ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) – A man from Lima was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for having sexual contact with two young victims over a period of ten years.

Paul Bowman, 48, was sentenced on Tuesday after a jury found him guilty in May of 10 counts of rape and five counts of sexual assault.

Prosecutors say Bowman initiated sexual contact with the victims when they were not even 13 years old, and that contact continued for many years until police were notified in early 2023. Bowman fled the area and was later arrested on the charges. He was also classified as a Level 3 sex offender.
