Man attacks wife over affair in Tadipatri

According to police, Dada Peer had married Ramija five months ago and had been harassing her for the past few days because he suspected her of being with another man.

On Sunday, he again got into an argument with Ramija over the matter and attacked her with a sharp knife. He fled the scene after injuring her neck.

Locals alerted the police and took her to Anantapur General Hospital, where her condition was apparently serious.

The Tadipatri police have launched a manhunt for Dada Peer after registering a case against him.
