Car collides with KFD ambulance on Sunday morning | Local news

The car had significant damage to the front and was not drivable. The emergency vehicle, on the other hand, had only minor damage.

The fire brigade was called to the scene of the accident to clear up the debris. The work was completed about an hour after the accident.

In a statement from Killeen Fire Chief James Kubinski, he confirmed that the ambulance was responding to an emergency call, but there was no patient inside at the time of the collision.

“The ambulance left the intersection before proceeding,” Kubinski said. He said he did not know anything about the accident because it was the responsibility of the Killeen Police Department.

Killeen police had not responded to questions from the Herald as of 4 p.m.
