Williamsburg woman arrested after stabbing at Days Inn

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — A Williamsburg woman was arrested following a stabbing early Friday morning at the Days Inn on Bypass Road, authorities say.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office said officers responded to a report of a stabbing shortly after 4 a.m. and found a 39-year-old man with two serious cuts.

Their investigation revealed that the victim and 51-year-old Regina Harvey were staying at the hotel when an argument broke out that led to the stabbing.

Harvey was charged with aggravated assault with intent to injure. She is being held at the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail.
