Helping create healthy schools and communities in Buffalo

BUFFALO, NY — A grant has been awarded to the TMP Technologies/TRS Packaging Packaging Center in Lackawanna.

A funded team worked with Villa Maria College and the International Institute of Buffalo to display translated slides in break rooms to introduce culturally relevant foods and healthy eating.

Many employees come from other countries.

The goal of the Healthy Schools and Communities grant is to prioritize health and well-being in local schools, child care centers and workplaces.
