Atlanta Falcons preseason game to air live on NFL Network

NFL Network will broadcast 21 preseason games live “with a heavy emphasis on rookie QBs,” according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport. One of the matchups that makes the list is the Atlanta Falcons vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday, August 23 at 7 p.m. EST. This is the first game of a doubleheader for NFL Network as the evening concludes with the San Francisco 49ers visiting the Las Vegas Raiders at 10 p.m. EST.

The preseason showdown with the Jaguars is an annual tradition and this year appears to be the first chance the world will get to see Falcons rookie quarterback Michael Penix, Jr.
