Tega Cay police warn community after bear sighting

TEGA CAY, SC (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – Tega Cay Police are warning the public about a bear roaming around town.

Officials said they received three calls Saturday from the area of ​​Point Clear Drive and Kailua Circle.

Just a few weeks ago, a bear was spotted in the Mooreville area north of Charlotte.

Police said they are working with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources regarding these sightings.
