Man dead after reported drowning in Moreno Valley – Press Enterprise

A man was pronounced dead on Saturday, June 8, after paramedics were unable to resuscitate him following a reported drowning accident in Moreno Valley, the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department said.

The report that the man was pulled from a swimming pool came in around 4:45 p.m. in the 24,000 block of Groven Lane, Cal Fire spokeswoman Tawny Castro said.

When firefighters arrived, they found him dead, Castro said. The cause of death could not be immediately determined. Castro did not know his age. The sheriff’s department is investigating.
