Road closure on I-45 creates problems for Houstonians

A road closure on Interstate 45 left some Houstonians in a traffic jam Saturday.

The reported construction closure is located southbound at the intersection of SH 249 and Mount Houston Road. It is scheduled to last from 4 p.m. Saturday to 3 p.m. Sunday.

All traffic on the road exits at the West Mount Houston exit ramp and 249. Next, traffic will be guided along the frontage road before re-entering the main lanes at the West Golf Bank front entrance ramp.
