COMMUNITIES. IT’S GOING TO BE AN INTERESTING DAY. WE’RE ACTUALLY GOING TO GET A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING. YES. YOU KNOW, IT’S ALREADY WARM AND HUMBLE AND WE’RE GOING TO SEE THUNDERSTORMS COMING UP. THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO GET SEVERE. SO WE’VE MADE IT A SEVERE WEATHER WARNING DAY. BUT THAT’S GOING TO BE MOSTLY FOR THE AFTERNOON. AND AS WE GET INTO THE NIGHT, WE’RE JUST NOTICING THAT THESE CLOUDS CONTINUE TO INCREASE AND SOME LITERAL RAIN IS ALREADY COMING UP. THIS IS ALL IN FRONT OF A WARM FRONT THAT’S GOING TO GET VERY LIGHT AND IMPACT PARTS OF GREENE COUNTY. YOU CAN STILL SEE A LOT OF RAIN IN THE EASTERN PARTS OF OHIO, MOVING INTO THE NORTHERN PANHANDLE OF WEST VIRGINIA. WHAT WE’RE WATCHING IS STILL THAT COLD FRONT. IT’S DUE WEST OF SOUTHWEST SAINT LOUIS AND EVEN CHICAGO. AND IT’S GOING TO KEEP COMING INTO OUR AREA. SO WE’RE LOOKING AT 12 O’CLOCK. WE’RE GOING TO SEE THAT FIRST LITTLE WAVE IN FRONT OF THAT WARM FRONT, AND THEN WE’RE IN WHAT WE CALL THE WARM SECTOR. ALL THAT WARM, HUMID AIR JUST STAYS TRAPPED IN OUR AREA BETWEEN THE WARM FRONT AND THE COLD FRONT. AND AS THAT COLD FRONT APPROACHES, WHEN IT’S LATER TONIGHT, AFTER THE SUN HAS SET, THERE’S STILL A CHANCE OF SOME OF THESE STORMS BEING SEVERE. I THINK HEAVY RAIN IS DEFINITELY GOING TO BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS FOR US, AND DAMAGING WINDS CAN’T RULE OUT LARGE HAIL AND LIGHTNING. ALSO, THERE’S STILL A THREAT OF AN ISOLATED TORNADO. BUT AGAIN, THE HEAVY RAIN SEEMS TO BE THE BIGGEST STORM THREAT, AND WHERE YOU SEE A DARKER SHADE OF GREEN, THAT’S WHERE WE HAVE A BETTER CHANCE OF SOME OF THESE ISOLATED RISKS FOR SEVERE STORMS. AS THE DAY GOES ON, WE’LL SEE SOME HEAVY RAIN FANS AS EARLY AS NOON. THAT’S BEFORE THE WARM FRONT I JUST SHOWED YOU, LAWRENCE BEAVER, WASHINGTON, ESPECIALLY SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70 IN GREENE AND FAYETTE COUNTY. THAT’S GOING THROUGH. IT’S GOING TO CALM DOWN AFTER A LITTLE BREAK BETWEEN THE FIRST SMALL WAVE AND THEN INTO THE SECOND. AT 7 AM WE’LL SEE THE ENTRY AGAIN, ESPECIALLY SOUTH AND EAST OF THE CITY AFTER THE SUN HAS SET. THEN WE HAVE A CHANCE OF SOME OF THESE STORMS GETTING REALLY SEVERE AROUND MIDNIGHT. MOST OF IT WILL BE TO THE EAST BUT THIS LINE WILL BE WATCHED AROUND 2:03 AM, IT GOES THROUGH GREENE, FAYETTE, EVEN INTO PRESTON. TUCKER AND GARRETT COULD HAVE SOMETHING AGAIN, VARIOUS HEAVY RAINFALLS AND THE LIKELIHOOD OF A STRONG TO SEVERE STORM. UNTIL THEY WAKE UP AND START RELATIVELY CALM, THERE WILL STILL BE SOME RAIN FOR MANY OF US IN WESTMORELAND AND FAYETTE COUNTY. THE CLOUDS WILL BREAK UP A LITTLE. SUNSHINE AND A SHORT-TERM SMALL WAVE OF ENERGY ARRIVES ON THURSDAY AROUND 2 AM, BRINGING SOME SPOTATED RAIN TO THE AREA BETWEEN 2 AM AND 5 AM, AND THEN IT WILL BE CALM AGAIN THURSDAY EVENING. FRIDAY IS NOT A NEGLIGENT DAY. VERY ONE-TIME AND ERRORS. I THINK IT’S DEFINITELY A SAFE BET TO KEEP YOUR OUTDOOR PLANS IN PLACE, BUT YOU’LL FIND A MAJOR COOLING OUT COMING SO TODAY IS A SEVERE WEATHER WARNING DAY. SPOKEN RAIN AND SOME HEAVY TO STRONG STORMS ARE DEVELOPING, ESPECIALLY IN THE AFTERNOON AND AROUND MIDNIGHT. WE WILL BE UNDER THE 27 GRAMS TODAY. STILL VERY GAY. THESE STORMS COULD BE STRONG AGAIN BETWEEN 12 AND 3 AM TOMORROW. TEMPERATURES WILL DROPS TO THE MID 60S AND THERE WILL BE A PRETTY STRONG FRONT. LOWERING OUR TEMPERATURES INTO THE WEEKEND. WE WILL STAY IN THE LOW TO MID 70S. THERE IS STILL A CHANCE OF AN SPOKEN SHOWER ON SUNDAY. SATURDAY LOOKS TO BE THE DRIEST DAY OF THE WEEKEND AGAIN. ON FRIDAY VERY EASY. I DON’T THINK MOST OF US WILL EXPERIENCE THE RAIN, SO WE’LL STAY IN THE
