A man has been arrested following an alleged attack at the Harris Teeter grocery store in Florence, police said

FLORENCE, SC (WBTW) – A man was arrested Tuesday night after an alleged attack at the Harris Teeter grocery store, said Capt. Stephen Starling of the Florence Police Department.

The man was spotted near Mickey Finn’s Brewery and fled from police, Starling said. He was caught resisting in the 1800 block of Gregg Avenue.


After a brief struggle, officers arrested him and there were no reported injuries from the incident, according to Starling.

The suspect’s name is currently unknown. News13 has asked police to clarify the alleged assault, but details are limited at this time.
