Man dies in motorcycle accident in Bloomfield

BLOOMFIELD, Connecticut (WTNH) – A man was killed in an early morning motorcycle crash in Bloomfield, police said.

At 2:15 a.m., Bloomfield Police received reports of a possible collision involving a motorcycle on the lawn of a business.


When officers arrived at the scene of the accident in the area of ​​Blue Hills Avenue and Dudley Town Road, they saw a “severely damaged motorcycle” with an unconscious 41-year-old man lying next to it.

According to authorities, CPR was performed after the man lost his pulse, but he eventually died at the scene.

Police investigations revealed that it was a single-vehicle accident in which the motorcyclist lost control and slid off the road into the grass.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Bloomfield Police Department.
