Man and woman arrested for burglary

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A 24-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested and charged with burglary of a dwelling following an investigation conducted on Tuesday, May 28, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO).

EPCSO said officers and detectives began investigating a residential burglary on May 28 and subsequently located and identified the “unknown perpetrators” in the 600 block of Plata Place.

According to EPCSO, surveillance was conducted which led to the arrest of Ricardo Garcia (24) and Meranda Hernandez (32).

In addition, EPCSO said officers recovered two stolen vehicles and received information on additional stolen property from El Paso County.

According to EPCSO, Garcia and Hernandez were both booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on charges of burglary and posted bail of $40,000.
