Suspect wanted for fatal stabbing identified and charged in Houston |

Houston, TX — A murder charge has been filed against a suspect wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man at 9500 Deering Drive on March 11, according to the Houston Police Department.

The suspect, Terry Talley, 58, is charged in the death of 34-year-old Julian Croll. Talley, who is currently not in custody, was charged with murder in the 182nd State District Court.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Graf II and E. Torres II reported that patrol officers responded to a report of a person at the listed address. When they arrived, they found Houston Fire Department paramedics helping an unconscious man with a stab wound. The victim was later identified as Croll, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to a witness, two individuals, described only as black men, were involved in the stabbing and fled the scene in a vehicle. Further investigation identified Talley as a suspect in this incident. He was subsequently charged on May 29.

The investigation is ongoing and HPD is urging anyone with information on Talley’s whereabouts to come forward.
