Teen on bike chased and beaten in Clearwater speeding incident: CPD

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Investigators are searching for two men who followed a teenager on a bicycle and beat him in a traffic accident, the Clearwater Police Department wrote in a social media post Tuesday. (Watch a video of the suspects below.)

The cyclist almost hit the suspect’s SUV in a gas station parking lot at Chestnut Street and Fort Harrison Avenue.

The teenager was chased by the men, who forced him off his bike – which they later stole – and beat him, police said.

One man had gray-brown hair, wore glasses and appeared to be wearing a “security uniform,” the agency said.

The other suspect was bald and had tattoos all over his arm and possibly his neck.

The men were in a gray Nissan SUV.
