Johnny Wactor of General Hospital killed in shooting

Johnny Wactor, who played Brando Corbin in General Hospital for over 160 episodes, was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday. According to KTLA, Wactor was shot during an attempted robbery of a catalytic converter. “Police said the man saw three men steal the catalytic converter from his vehicle. When he confronted them, they turned around and shot him,” they wrote. TMZ reports that police have not released a description of the suspects.

Wactor began his television career on Army women for Lifetime. In addition to his recurring role in General Hospital, He has appeared in shows such as Westworld, The OA, Station 19, And NCIS – The Movie. He leaves behind his mother Scarlett and his brothers Lance and Grant. He was 37 years old.
