Ranking the Buffalo Bills’ Top 5 Moves in the 2024 Offseason

Until last offseason, the Buffalo Bills were generally aggressive in free agency to sign the best talent possible. After the Bills lost to the Kansas City Chiefs again in the playoffs, Buffalo was going to have to make some tough decisions going into free agency. They had been hit by multiple player injuries across the board and their salary cap space was a major issue. For the Bills to solve their money problem, Brandon Beane had to make some unpopular but necessary changes.

Beane started by releasing players such as Tre’Davious White, Jordan Poyer and Mitch Morse. The Bills would then let Jordan Poyer and Gabe Davis enter free agency. Then, to top it all off, the Bills made the shocking decision to trade star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the surging Houston Texans. The Bills will look like a very different football team in 2024, but there are still plenty of reasons why Bills fans should be excited for next season.

Even though it seems like the Bills lost a lot more than they won, that’s simply not true. They have rejuvenated in various areas and have managed to attract high-level potential talents. Additionally, they have also created stability at different positions on the roster.
