However, the technician didn’t come, which led her to speak to the service provider the next day and file a complaint, which resulted in the service provider sending a technician to her home. The man came at 5 p.m. and 15 minutes later asked the woman, who was home alone, to turn off the main switch.

The woman obeyed and went to the kitchen to do some chores. While she was busy with her tasks, the technician sneaked in from behind and sexually harassed her. The stunned woman screamed at him, warning him of dire consequences, but the man remained unmoved, walked up to her and began touching her inappropriately.

The woman pushed the man out of the kitchen and locked herself in. She found a phone in the kitchen and called one of her friends who was staying nearby, informing the person of the incident and asking for help.

The woman’s friend took a stick and subdued him. The technician started bleeding and ran away from the spot, leaving the water treatment equipment behind.

The woman filed a complaint against the technician at the local police station and the officers took the information from the company. Authorities called his number but received no response.

Police officers searched for his family members the next day and found that he had not returned home after work. They asked the authorities to file a missing report.

Police officers declined to press charges, telling them that he had been on the run after sexually harassing a woman. A case was initiated against him and the investigation was still ongoing.

This is not the first case in recent times where a techie in the city was sexually harassed by a visitor. In March, another woman was sexually assaulted in her home by a food delivery man after he grabbed her hand in the home’s kitchen.
