Jeremy Renner has “actually died” after a horrific snowplow accident.

Jeremy Renner technically died after a horrific snowplow accident last year, his co-star claimed.

The Avengers actor, who plays Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), was hospitalized and underwent multiple surgeries after the accident in which he was hit by a large snow vehicle on January 30, 2023 had broken bones.

It was revealed at the time that Renner, 53, whose recovery was recently praised by his Marvel co-stars, had “suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries,” but it now emerged that his heart had actually stopped beating.

Renners Mayor of Kingstown Co-star Michael Beach said in a new interview that the actor “actually died” – a detail he “didn’t know until he told me.”

Beach tells The direct one: “Jeremy (Renner) is a war horse, man. He came back. And he says he’s not sure what it would be like. But he was ready. And every week he says he feels stronger and stronger.”

The actor said Renner recovered so well that there was “no interruption due to his physical abilities.”

“He’s in,” Beach added. “He’s great. Yeah, he’s a great guy, man. And he’s really badass.”

Beach said that the cast and crew of Mayor of Kingstown will get “a unique perspective on the story of how Jeremy Renner was run over by a snowplow,” as both Renner and the nephew he was helping when the accident occurred are working on the series.

“They’re not afraid to tell you what was going on, how they were feeling and all that,” Beach said.

In February, racer reflected on the near-fatal accident during an appearance at the People’s Choice Awardswhere he received a standing ovation.

“I have to say, it feels good to be back,” Renner said. “This year has been a massive journey and I’m glad I get to be here with you, the fans – you’re the best.”
