Detectives investigate robbery at Christiana Mall kiosk – Delaware State Police

Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred today at a kiosk at the Christiana Mall in Newark.

On May 10, 2024, at approximately 11:15 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the WikiWoo kiosk in the Christiana Mall at 132 Christiana Mall Road in Newark. During the investigation, investigators learned that an unknown male suspect approached a WikiWoo employee at the kiosk and demanded money from the cash register. The employee did not comply with the request and the suspect reached into his pocket for an unknown object and at the same time threatened to harm the employee. The employee still did not comply and the suspect ran out of the mall.

The suspect is described as a black man. Surveillance video and images of the suspect are not available.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Robbery Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives ask anyone with information about this case to contact Detective J. Dempsey at (302) 365-8472.
