Eleven people were killed and 41 others injured in Russian attacks on four Ukrainian regions in the past 24 hours, regional authorities reported on the morning of July 28.

In the southern part of Kherson Oblast, Russian forces attacked the village of Komyshany on the morning of July 28, injuring six people, including two children aged 10 and 15, the Kherson Oblast Military Administration reported.

The village of Pryozerne was also hit. A 56-year-old woman suffered a leg injury, regional authorities said.

In previous attacks, Russia had hit the southern city of Kherson and 16 other settlements in the region, killing four people and wounding four others, said the governor of Kherson Oblast, Oleksandr Prokudin.

During the attacks on Kherson Oblast overnight and on May 27, three residential buildings, 18 houses, an educational institution and civilian infrastructure were reportedly damaged.

Five residents were killed and 15 others injured in Russian attacks on the eastern Donetsk region on July 27, Governor Vadym Filashkin said on Facebook.

Most of the fatalities were reported in the village of Ivanivka, about 20 kilometers east of the city of Pokrovsk. In the Donetsk region, heavy fighting continues as Russia seeks to occupy the entire region.

In Kharkiv Oblast, an elderly woman was killed and a 54-year-old man was injured in Russian attacks on the Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts, reported Governor Oleh Syniehubov.

According to Syniehubov, five houses, an agricultural facility and an industrial plant were destroyed or damaged in the attacks.

Russian troops also attacked the town of Hlukhiv in Sumy Oblast on July 27, killing one child and injuring 14 others, local authorities reported.
