Calls from the state police: complaint of indecent assault classified as unfounded

CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) — Clearfield-based State Police responded to the following incidents:

Complaint of sexual assault deemed unfounded

PSP Clearfield investigated an incident reported through a PREA investigation at SCI Houtzdale in Woodward Township, Clearfield County on Friday, July 12 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

According to police, it was reported that a male suspect had grabbed a victim’s genital area.

Based on videos and witness statements, it was determined that this allegation was unfounded.

A 21-year-old man from Houtzdale is listed as the victim.

Trespassing in Morris Township

PSP Clearfield responded to a report of a disturbance on Morrisdale Allport Highway in Morris Township, Clearfield County on June 30 at approximately 9:28 p.m.

According to police, a 51-year-old Morrisdale man was trespassing at the above-mentioned location because he had been informed prior to the incident that he was no longer allowed to be there.

The victim is a 28-year-old man from Morrisdale.

The charges will be brought through the office of District Judge Jerome M. Nevling.

Vehicle theft in Cooper Township

State Police in Clearfield received a report on July 1 that several items were stolen from a vehicle over the past weekend while it was parked in a parking lot on Rolling Stone Road in Cooper Township, Clearfield County.

According to police, the vehicle is a 2024 Peterson.

The victim is a 33-year-old man from Clearfield.
