Pennsylvania man charged in Juneau County car crash that left one dead | Crime

MAUSTON, Wis. (WKBT) – New details have been released about the Juneau County traffic crash that left one person dead last Wednesday.

Derek Schaffer, 52, of Pennsylvania, is charged with intoxicated manslaughter, driving without a license and possession of THC.

According to the criminal complaint, Schaffer was traveling alone with a friend on I-90/94 East early Wednesday morning when he crossed both lanes and rolled several times into a ditch.

State police officers found a dead woman at the scene, as well as marijuana and open alcohol near the car.

A judge in Juneau County set bail at $10,000.
