Bedias man killed in Grimes County traffic accident Tuesday

BEDIAS, Texas (KBTX) – A Bedias man was killed in a traffic accident in Grimes County on Tuesday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

They say it happened around 6 p.m. on Crossroad Drive, about 15 minutes northeast of Bedias.

A Cadillac SUV was traveling west on the road toward the intersection of County Road 131. According to police, the vehicle continued on, broke through a fence and struck a tree.

The driver, 57-year-old Michael Gardner of Bedias, was pronounced dead at the scene.
