Police Activity Westside Atlanta BeltLine Connector Trail

ATLANTA — A heavy law enforcement presence could be seen along the Westside Atlanta BeltLine Connector trail Thursday afternoon.

11Alive’s SkyTracker flew over the crime scene, where crime scene tape can be seen in front of the connector trail tunnel. It appears authorities are investigating the area of ​​Echo Street in Atlanta’s Bankhead neighborhood, home to a new apartment building and a BP gas station.

Georgia State Patrol cars were seen blocking part of the road in the area.
