Man who attacked Ross County woman and led police on manhunt still at large

BAINBRIDGE, Ohio — A Bainbridge woman reports a domestic violence incident that occurred on July 10, 2024, in which her estranged husband threatened and stalked her. The suspect, Timothy Miller, is still at large.

According to a police report, the victim, identified as Sarah (REDACTED), stated that Miller struck her car multiple times with his vehicle while she was traveling on State Route 41. She also stated that Miller threatened to kill her.

The report goes on to say that Miller allegedly threatened the victim and the children before. Screenshots of emails that Miller sent are included in the report, in which he allegedly threatened violence if Sarah did not come home.

On July 11, officers followed up on the tips and went to Miller’s residence. He was not found at the house, but a black Chevy Cruze believed to be driven by Miller was found nearby.

A subsequent chase ensued after a 911 call reported Miller was again pursuing Sarah. Miller fled on foot into the woods and evaded capture despite the efforts of officers and a drone team. A search warrant was executed at another location, where another vehicle belonging to Miller was found, covered with a tarp. Weapons were recovered from the vehicle, including brass knuckles and a machete.

The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Timothy Miller to contact them immediately.
