Sault Ste. Marie man arrested for child sex abuse – EUP News

SAULT STE. MARIE, MICH. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit
The Task Force Against Children (ICAC) announces the arrest of 21-year-old Jacob Tyler Dumas for child sexual abuse (aggravated felony), possession of child sexual abuse material, and use of a computer to commit a crime.

Dumas was arrested following an investigation that was launched when it became known that Dumas
Viewing files containing sexually abusive material for children on the Internet. A search of his apartment revealed
digital evidence is confiscated.

Dumas was charged with 10 counts of child sexual abuse – aggravated possession and two counts of use of a computer to commit a crime. Dumas was arraigned in 91st District Court on July 2.

If convicted, Dumas faces up to 25 years in prison for sexual abuse of children – aggravated
Possession and 20 years in prison for using a computer to commit a crime.
