Watertown Police Chief Announces Two Promotions

Two members of the Watertown Police Department have been promoted. See the announcement from Police Chief Justin Hanrahan.

Chief Hanrahan is pleased to announce the promotion of Kenneth Swift to Lieutenant and Mark Leitner to Sergeant effective Thursday, June 27th.

Lt. Swift has served as a School Resource Officer and has performed multiple roles in the Criminal Investigation Division. He will assume command of the Criminal Investigation Division.

Sergeant Leitner has been with the police for 22 years and is an experienced police trainer in various areas. He will work as a patrol leader on the evening shift.
