Group of child molesters arrested in DeRidder | KTVE

DERIDDER, La. (WNTZ) – The DeRidder Police Department received a complaint of indecent conduct. The DeRidder Police Department Criminal Investigation Division began investigating the complaint and learned the following. A group of adult males were engaging in inappropriate conversations that led to sexual relations with underage females in the area.

During the investigation, investigators learned that Jaddarius J. Miller, 26, of DeRidder, engaged in sexually inappropriate conversations with minors which resulted in him having sexual relations with the minors. During questioning by investigators, he confirmed the allegations.


He was arrested and taken to the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail and charged with first degree rape when the victim was younger than thirteen years old. His bail was set at no bail.

Investigators also learned that Keomah Ishmael Jackson, 24, DeRidder, engaged in sexually inappropriate conversations with a juvenile, which resulted in him having a sexual relationship with the juvenile. During questioning by investigators, he confirmed the allegations.

He was arrested and booked into the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail and charged with sexual abuse of a minor and indecent conduct with a minor. His bail is set at $200,000.00.

Investigators also learned that Emmanuel Travone (January 21, DeRidder) engaged in sexually inappropriate conversations with a minor, which resulted in him having a sexual relationship with the minor. During questioning by investigators, he confirmed the allegations.

He was arrested and booked into the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office Jail and charged with sexual abuse of a minor and indecent conduct with a minor. His bail is set at $200,000.00.

The investigation is ongoing and further charges are pending.

An arrest is an indication that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the person in question was involved in the crime charged. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

DeRidder Police also want to remind parents to monitor their children’s cell phone and social media activity. Parents should review every app on their child’s phone. Talk to your children about online safety. Parents should know any passwords their child has set on their cell phone or other internet-enabled devices.

Parents should also go a step further and take their children’s phones away at night while they are charging so that no one can communicate with them while they sleep.

If parents are unaware of their children’s online activities, sex offenders can target children through social media apps.
