Wichita police ask for help in finding missing woman with dementia

WICHITA, Kansas (KWCH) – Wichita Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 77-year-old woman who was last seen around 1:40 p.m. Monday in the area of ​​9th Street and Saint Francis in Wichita. Rosa Mary Patton is the subject of a Silver Alert.

Patton is about 5’1″ tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has gray hair and green eyes. Police said Patton was last seen wearing a blue top, gray capri pants and a hospital bracelet. In addition to the dangerous heat, the urgency is heightened by the fact that police say Patton suffers from dementia “which affects her mental functioning.”

Anyone who sees Patton or knows where she might be should call 911.
