Police search for suspect in hit-and-run investigation

INDIANA COUNTY, Pennsylvania (EYT) – State police are trying to identify the suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Indiana County.

According to a press release from PSP Indiana on Monday, June 24, the accident occurred on Wednesday, June 12, at approximately 8:43 p.m. at Kwik Fill, 4621 State Route 119 Highway South, in Center Township, Indiana County.

According to police, the suspect was backing out of her parking space to leave the store and collided with a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado that was properly parked at the time of the incident.

According to police, the suspect left the scene without stopping to give her statement.

The vehicle is believed to be a Honda Accord sedan. The rear bumper is said to be damaged.
