Amber Alert lifted after baby found safe after kidnapping

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Amber Alert issued for six-month-old Thomas Gallardo Jr. has been lifted.

According to police, the child was found safe and sound.

A child was reported missing on Sunday after being abducted by Thomas Gallardo Sr. during the commission of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The child, six-month-old Thomas Gallardo Jr., was the subject of a nationwide Amber alert.

Authorities had asked the public to call the police if they had any information.
