Road closure at the intersection of McKinnie Avenue and Wayne Trace

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The intersection of McKinnie Avenue and Wayne Trace in the city of Fort Wayne will be closed to all traffic effective Monday, June 24.

This road closure follows the closure of McKinnie Avenue between Hessen Cassel Road and Wayne Trace, which was announced in mid-May and is scheduled to last until mid-June.

The City of Fort Wayne says the intersection of McKinnie Avenue and Wayne Trace will be closed for the installation of a storm sewer to improve drainage and protect homes in the neighborhood.

The work is expected to last until the end of June.
