Strong winds, large hail and isolated tornadoes are possible today

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) – There will be some rain in the morning hours, but it will likely clear and the atmosphere can recover for the afternoon. Storms developing during the afternoon will produce strong winds, heavy rain and isolated large hailstones. The risk of isolated tornadoes remains. Storms will move in from the northwest during the evening, bringing strong winds and very heavy rain. Flash flooding is possible. Later in the night the weather calms down.

LOOKING AHEAD: Mainly dry weather is expected on Thursday and it will become quite pleasant on Friday, starting the early weekend. The morning will be cool, with afternoon highs around 70. Mother’s Day Sunday looks wonderful.
