Police in Pensacola, Florida, are searching for the missing teenage daughter of an East Tennessee police officer

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) – Pensacola police are searching for a missing teenager who was last seen at a hospital.

According to a department flyer, 16-year-old Abigail Kate Velez has been missing since 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 6. Blue Line Tennessee Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Maryville, wrote in a social media post that Velez is the daughter of a local police officer.

The flyer describes Velez as having dark blonde hair and green eyes, being 1.68 m tall and weighing 60 kg.

She was last seen at Baptist Hospital, the department said.
